Lebanese foreign minister told Saudi outlet Alhadath that Lebanon condemns the
attacks on Saudi Arabia and has resumed autonomous decision‑making; it will not
allow any third party to negotiate on its behalf. He said negotiations succeeded
in stopping attacks on Beirut and nearby areas, military action has devastated
the south and displaced civilians, and ending Israeli occupation can only be
achieved through negotiations. He described the talks as long and complex but
pledged to continue until full sovereignty is restored, and said decisions to
limit weapons are an internal matter unrelated to negotiations with Israel.
