The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran stated that the pace of liquidity growth has slowed in recent months. As of late August, the cumulative liquidity increase over the past five months was 19% month-on-month and 18% year-on-year. He expressed hope that the slowdown in inflation that began in July 2026 would continue into September.
