Li Auto told media it can supply its self-developed Mach chips and
silicon-carbide (SiC) modules to external customers. Ma Donghui said the chips
are small, widely adaptable and can be integrated by other manufacturers. Li
Auto’s self-developed battery PACKs will not be supplied externally — PACKs are
custom-designed to Li’s vehicle specifications and production is sized to match
Li Auto’s vehicle output. Self-developed components that can be standardized may
be sold externally.
