Yonhap reports Korean Premium Week 2026, the country's largest
investor-relations program, opened on the 28th and runs through Oct. 16 with 42
institutions and 55 listed companies participating. In a recorded opening
remark, South Korea's Lee said the government is pushing structural reforms to
eliminate a long-standing Korean discount and turn it into a Korean premium,
concentrating resources to fundamentally improve capital-market structure,
citing significant progress and pledging further efforts to build a transparent,
fair market to boost Korea's appeal in Asia.
