He said the administration is considering creating an oversight committee of about 10 members to supervise AI development, and that he has formally renamed artificial intelligence (AI) as Super Intelligence (SI). Trump has previously said the US does not need new AI-specific regulation and opposed a global scheme to control AI at the UN General Assembly.
