China Communications Construction Group and Jiangsu Transport Holding signed a strategic deepening agreement today to expand cooperation in transport infrastructure, transport–energy integration, industrial upgrading, green/low‑carbon projects, digital-intelligence services and the low‑altitude economy. The pact commits both parties to comprehensive, deeper collaboration on infrastructure projects, industrial and market coordination, technology innovation and talent development to support high‑quality development of Jiangsu’s transport sector.

EASA said on Sept. 30 that civil aviation safety risks have risen after Houthi forces expanded attacks on Saudi targets and recommended operators avoid flying at any altitude in the Saudi airspace areas it specified. It said Houthi strikes on maritime, energy and infrastructure targets have increased in frequency and scope since September, and that southern and southwestern Saudi airspace near Houthi-controlled areas are particularly exposed. The agency warned that more missile and drone strikes and increased air-defence activity raise the risk of misidentification of civil aircraft, interception and falling debris.
