A Pakistani security source said on the 2nd that Indian border personnel shot
dead two Pakistani civilians and wounded a third near the India-Pakistan border
in Kasur district, Punjab. The source said the three villagers had just crossed
boundary markers, were unarmed, and that the shooting violated border agreements
and standard operating procedures; the source also accused Indian media of
fabricating facts and labeling the civilians 'infiltrators.'
