From the afternoon, major stations including Shanghai Hongqiao, Nanjing South and Hangzhou East will face concentrated return flows, and traffic toward Changsha, Nanchang, Beijing and Wuhan is rising. The group carried 3.84 mln passengers on Oct 5; since the Sep 23 start of holiday transport through Oct 5 cumulative throughput was 44.83 mln, averaging roughly 3.45 mln per day.

He said the line was restored within five to six days after being shut following a drone attack from the direction of Iraq on Sept. 10. A source said last week that state oil company Aramco had lifted throughput to nearly 6.0 mln bpd, above 80% of capacity, with roughly 4.5 mln bpd available for export via Yanbu on the Red Sea coast.
