The Sunshine Protection Act passed the House earlier this year but remains stalled in the Senate. Absent action, most of the U.S. will revert to standard time on Nov. 1 (this Sunday), moving U.S. financial market hours and the timing of economic data releases one hour later than during daylight saving time.
