Deputy Minister Liao Min said the demand‑support package, rolled out just over six months ago, is proceeding as expected; about 113 million resident person‑times and 6.22 million enterprises have received support. From Jan–Jul, six loan‑subsidy tools (SME, equipment renewal, service‑sector operators, consumer loans, etc.) helped channel more than CNY20 trillion of new lending into targeted fields, up CNY880 billion YoY (+4.5%). Support spans traditional sectors (agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries, cultural tourism, health and elderly care) and emerging industries (high‑end equipment, AI, green/low‑carbon, biomanufacturing). Two consumption measures have supported roughly CNY1.88 trillion of household spending by boosting service‑sector supply (restaurants, accommodation, culture, health/elderly care) and strengthening demand via subsidies, trade‑in and invoice‑lottery incentives.
