On the 28th Rosatom CEO Likhachov said Ukrainian forces carried out more than 60 drone attacks in the past 24 hours on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant and the plant’s host city, Energodar. He said Kyiv appeared to be aiming to sap morale among Energodar residents and plant staff through increasingly frequent strikes, and that plant personnel have shown high professionalism and courage.

China Huadian's Qinghai branch said its Delingha integrated high‑altitude solar–hydrogen–storage project — a 1 GW solar array with a 3 MW PV‑to‑hydrogen unit — has generated more than 4 bln kWh. The Delingha facility in Haixi, Qinghai includes a 3 MW hydrogen plant, a 330 kV step‑up substation and a 270 MW/1,080 MWh battery storage station. The project is among China's first large wind‑solar bases on arid/Gobi land and marks the country's first trial of green power‑to‑hydrogen at high altitude.

The U.S. permanent representative to the United Nations said Washington will continue to act as needed to destroy Iranian infrastructure used to control the Strait of Hormuz. He warned Tehran it is mistaken if it believes President Trump will stand aside while Iran attacks shipping and U.S. bases, and said Iran must choose to be a responsible state or risk destruction.
