China's deputy permanent representative to the UN, Sun Lei, said on the 25th at
a joint UN80 dialogue convened by the Executive Boards of UNDP, UNFPA and UNOPS
that UN80 offers an important opportunity to improve the UN development system's
quality and efficiency. China is willing to work with other member states to
prudently and steadily advance UN reform and effectively shore up the UN's
development pillar.
