Data from shipping intelligence firm Kpler shows that since the outbreak of the conflict in Iran, refined oil supplies in the Middle East have decreased by approximately 4 million barrels per day. Refinery damage and export restrictions have led to uneven recovery across Middle Eastern countries. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain have suffered not only severe physical damage but also significant production losses. The UAE and Iran are more constrained by restrictions on product transportation. Qatar, due to damage to its Pearl GTL facility, will require a longer time to restore production. Oman's situation is different: located outside the Strait of Hormuz, Oman's production capacity has remained largely at normal levels.
